In recent years a variety of books have been written about heaven involving near-death experiences and peoples' stories of what they saw while they visited heaven. There is also an amazing fascination with angels today almost to the point of worship. However, God's Word gives a very different perspective from all of these very popular books. Heaven is all about God and His Glory and the privilege believers are given to live with Him and with His Son Jesus Christ throughout Eternity. So, the purpose of this study is to seek and find as much "truth about heaven" from Scripture that we can. It's time to dispel the myths and the misconceptions that people have and discover the many facts that God has revealed about heaven throughout the Bible. These facts about our eternal future are so thrilling and so amazing that they will change our lives because the motivation to honor God will become a reality that we want to live every day.
