Jesus used a parable, called the Parable of the Sower, to illustrate the spiritual heart condition and response to God's Word of different types of people. Through this parable, we can learn what is needed to prepare the soil of our hearts so that we can receive the seed of God's Word and grow to maturity as believers. Once the soil is prepared, it's time to look at the fruit the seed will produce. We will study each of the nine different types of fruit that are listed as the Fruit of the Spirit and about the great significance each individual fruit has in the life of a believer.
